Australia has had a very good run in the Senior Latin event, firstly on our records with Brad Rathbone being a finalist 3 times for Switzerland and, Jeff Haddleton & Fiona Watson being the first Australasian couple to make the final in 1996.
2016 Champions
Australia’s first winner of this event came in 2016 with Victorians Shaun Peacham & AJ Whitty with Sydney couple Suppakorn Chuwongwut & Zuzana Vasailes also making the final and placing 5th. The following year, 2017, Australia won the title again with Suppakorn & Zuzana bringing the title back to Australia.
