Australia, especially in the 1990’s, had a very large Professional division with some Australian Championships having 30 plus couples. There use to be a Rising Star Championship on the Saturday for the up coming and new professionals in the industry and was a fabulous stepping stone and a prestigious title to win. The Rising Star Championship ended in 2002 however, we have started to list the past champions over the years, we have many gaps to fill but we have to start somewhere.
